Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, team, or tournament on Rift Circuit, we store your email address, display name, and password (hashed - we never store your password in plain text). When you add a Riot ID to your profile or team roster, we store your in-game name, tag line, and Riot PUUID.

Riot Games data

Rift Circuit uses the Riot Games API to resolve Riot IDs to account identifiers and to read match results for games played under tournament codes we generate. We only read match data for games associated with a tournament code we issued - we do not access your general match history, chat logs, or any data outside of tournament play.

Rift Circuit isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing League of Legends. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

How we use this data

We use account and roster data to run tournaments: matching registered teams into brackets, generating lobby codes, and automatically verifying match results against the rosters on file. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties outside of what is required to operate the tournament (e.g. Riot Games, for match verification).

Payments

Entry fees and prize payouts, where enabled, are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your card details ourselves.
